After completing my musical theatre degree in 2010, little did I know that ten years later I would be the founder and lead consultant of my own company, SB Digital Search. Initially taking a job in recruitment to clear my university debt, within days the discipline of Project Management really spoke to my slight OCD nature and love of a spreadsheet. We just clicked.
I jumped straight in and can honestly say that I loved every aspect of my role, especially meeting exciting candidates and assisting them with their search. In the early years I quickly realised that many big recruitment firms were more interested in KPI driven sales, rather than taking care of the talent we represented and the clients we engaged with. So, in 2015 I decided to set up on my own and get back to why I loved this industry in the first place.
Today my busy days are spent working from my home in Norwich with my toddler George, hubby AKA admin, and not forgetting the SB mascot Gary, my British Blue shorthair cat.
